JOIN THE TEAM
Here's the issue: The lack of youth engagement within a community, social, or political capacity is a growing challenge everywhere, as valuable perspectives and contributions aren't being shared.
We are here to change that.
Application Information:
(9th-12th grades)
Being a part of the Carlsbad Youth Action Team means being a part of one of the Sub-Teams, consisting of either the Education Team, Energy/Environment Team, or Economic Development Team. Of course, each team crosses over into each other's work and aligns with the Three Pillars of our program. Although, we want you to be part of a more specific team that fits your interests best, so check out the requirements & descriptions of each Sub-Team below. Afterward, fill out the application form below in order to become a part of the team. Once a member, you will automatically stay enrolled until the end of your high school years. If you are not accepted one year, you may apply again but are limited to doing so once every year. Each year, you may make a request to switch Sub-Teams by emailing carlsbadyouthactionteam@gmail.com explaining that you want to switch teams and explaining why.
